Rammed Earth in Japan
Rammed earth has been in Japan for some time and one of the best historic examples in this country are the magnificent walls at Horyu-ji Temple which are over 1200 years old and look fabulous to this day. Today in Japan they are in the rediscovery phase of this ancient art of building.
